Privacy

What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

The short version

ComputeVerse.ai has no advertising, and the calculators run in your browser — using them sends no inputs to us. Accounts are optional: you never need one to use any calculator. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to give us: your email address if you subscribe or create an account, the calculations you deliberately save to your account, and any comment you type into the feedback box. For general usage insight we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service that records only anonymous, aggregate visit data — no tracking cookies and no cross-site tracking (see the Analytics section below).

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate site usage — such as page views, visitor counts, referring sites, and device/browser type. This data is anonymous and aggregated; we do not collect personal information through analytics, we do not set tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Because it sets no cookies, it needs no cookie-consent banner.

If you subscribe by email

Your address is stored with our email provider, Resend, and used to send you the reference card you requested and occasional update emails — one or two a month, about new calculators and changes to referenced standards. Nothing else is sent, and your address is never sold or shared beyond that provider. To unsubscribe or have your address deleted, email contact@computeverse.ai and it will be removed.

If you create an account

Accounts are optional and exist for one reason: to save your work so you can reopen it later. If you create one, we store the name you provide and your email address (or, if you sign in with Google, the email and account identifier Google returns) and the calculations you explicitly choose to save. A saved calculation records the inputs you entered, a snapshot of the results, which calculator it was, the project it's filed under — including the project name and any description you add — and any assumptions or notes you attach to it. We never save a calculation unless you press “Save” — simply using a calculator saves nothing.

If you fill in the optional report details for a study — prepared by, reviewed by, client or organization, project number, revision, status, confidentiality — those are stored with the project so they can be printed on the reports you generate. They are entirely optional, and because some of them can name other people or organizations, please only enter what you are comfortable storing. Generating a report creates the PDF on demand and sends it straight to your browser: we do not keep a copy of the generated document.

This account data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, and is protected so that each account can only ever read or modify its own projects and calculations. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it beyond that provider. It is retained until you delete it or close your account.

You can delete any saved calculation or project from your workspace at any time, which removes it permanently. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email contact@computeverse.ai and we will remove it.

If you leave feedback

The thumbs-up/down vote, your optional comment, the calculator it concerns, and a timestamp are recorded so we know which calculators help and which need work. Feedback is anonymous — don't include personal information in the comment, and if you do and want it removed, contact us.

What stays in your browser

Bookmarks, your recently used calculators, your theme choice, and a marker that prevents double-voting on feedback are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

If you sign in, we set an essential session cookie so the site knows you're logged in as you move between pages. It is used only to keep you signed in — not for advertising or cross-site tracking — and signing out or clearing your browser data removes it.

Shared calculation links

When you use “Share”, your input values are encoded into the link itself so the recipient sees your calculation. Anyone you send the link to can see those inputs — share accordingly.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, page requested, time) used only for operating and securing the site.
